Next games in my collection

Scanning  sometime last hits from the game industry, I'm fed off with big blockbusters, the ones that everybody get and play with ! 
Having some game experience with smallest ones.  Here are some of the next ones that will populate my own collection:
  • Wet, an action-shooter game. no brand new thing in this game: only a Good game to have fun, shooting bad guy's ;)
  • Risen, the son of Fable 2 and Gothic. Technicaly perfect, it seems to be a very good RPG.
  • Magna Carta II, after a good experiment on PS2 some years ago with "Tears of Blood", the comeback of the korean rpg style is a well skilled one.

Gnome Shell

One of the next best evolution of gnome 3 has a name:  Gnome Shell
It's a great change in the desktop concept. On the same screen, you are able to launch application, find last document, create, delete, select a virtual desktop in an all-in-on full integrated 3D interface.

Welcome in the next generation of the Linux Desktop.

X360 - Mini Ninja - Magna Carta 2

As I'm a big fan of videogame and for many years, there are 2 small games I'd like to get.

The first one is Mini Ninja, a smart platform and adventure game, looking like and old playstation2 game named "Legend of kay". A great game with  a Nature touch, and a open your mind to green attitude.

The second one, is certainly a big piece of RPG: Magna Carta 2.
A Corean Role Playing Game which first version"Magna Carta:Tears of blood" had marked minds for the quality of its graphics on Playstation 2 too.

Happy Diwali !

Mayby you don't know it before, but Diwali is a festival as important as Christmas in India !

Diwali or the lights festival, is celebrated on 17th of octobre.

"Diwali as we call it today comes from the Sanskrit word Deepavali meaning garland of lights. There are many legends and important events associated with this highly auspicious day. Hence it is said that any Pooja, mantra japa or stotra recital on this day gives 100 times more benefits. Actually it is a 5 day festival with each day having its own legend, customes and rituals."

Back to Chennai !

Yes, I'm back to India for the next 2 weeks.

But there is a little changed... in flight !  No more Direct flight to Chennai from France, we have to transit through Bangalore. So, the travel is now approximative 26 - 27 hours !
Yes, I must say that this travel include a short passage in a beautiful hotel in Bangalore named "The Olde Bangalore Resort". And a night in one of its room a a cool experience, beacause tou sleeve in authentic sort of Yourt, you know this kind of teepee you can live in Oural desert...

Nothing better than an old school game

Enjoying these holidays with my family, we make the most of our time, this evening, playing on this good old Playstation 2 with The best multi-player PSOne game ever made : Crash Team Racing !

You will find attached some real screens shot (really made with a camera :) and seconds of video of this fun game.  Yes, graphics are old school ones and sound is very poor, But I don't know such a funny game !

Our apartment after some "do it yourself" !

2 years after buying this apartment, and doing a lot of modification and decoration, we finally get a great place to live in. On the attached picture, you will discover our new kitchen with its bar , edge between dining room and cook's place !
